I think judges should be allowed to throw out some of the more frivolous ones. Someone just filed a law suit against Pfizer because some of their hormone thearapy drugs caused cancer. The problem is it was a known, published side effect and there was never any cover up.

There have been a lot of settlements with drug companies because of side effects that only showed up after the drug was released, which is to be expected. I don't believe in limits on individual malpractice suits, nor class action suits, I just think there should be stronger cases

Frivolous cases are saturating the courts because lawyers get paid to take them no matter what they are arguing. It's billable time, therefore it's a paycheck.

I agree. They should be dismissed before they are filed and those clients should be escorted back out the door after the consultation. But there's a reason there are so many of them.
